Hi everyone! My name is Dawn. I am a 34 year old wife and mother. My children are ages 7 and 3, they are my life. My days are busy and hectic most of the time. I am currently back in college pursing my dream of becoming a nurse. I have always had a strong desire to help people and feel that is the perfect occupation for me. Sometimes I wish I had gone on and done it when I was younger instead of getting married first, but hey hind site is 20/20, and I'm doing it now...so I am proud of that. I have been married to the same man for 12 years, but we have been together since high school, so I have no regrets. I feel like it will all fall into place eventually.

I am also a mother of two (well almost). I have a 6 year old and a baby that will be here on Sept.03-if I don't go into labor prematurely. Motherhood is an absolutely wonderful pain in the butt isn't it?

Its never too late to pursue your hearts desire. If there is a passion in your heart to be a nurse...that is no accident. Plus you are setting such a great example to your children of a mommy who still has goals and moving forward in life. Just because you become a parent doesn't mean you can't work towards getting better.
