Duty! My senior asked me to transcribe the recording she had with the Governor's trip to Korea. Transcribing is somewhat fun but most of the time I get pissed. It's because sometimes you can't easily get to understand what the person on the recording is saying, so you need to have a lot of patience to play it back AGAIN and AGAIN. (hahah!! :D). But sometimes, even if I had a hard time in transcribing, I learned lessons. You just have to love and enjoy what your doing to gain accomplishment. And most of all be patient. :)))
After the fun of traveling and exploring the Midwest, I was assigned by my senior to write the main story about "Suroy-Suroy Sugbo". I was hesitant at first because I don't know where and how to start my story. But i have no choice but to write. (hehehe). So I recalled all the happenings in the event and review my notes. Fortunately, I finished and passed my article on time. :]
Lesson Learned: Write a lot of notes you can because it is where you base your story or news. ^_^
A one of a kind experience in my internship!! My senior, Miss Jacky asked me to go with her in covering the event "Suroy-Suroy Sugbo: Explore Midwest". It was a 2 day trip in the Midwest part of Cebu. It was very unforgettable and a memorable experience for me. I feel like being a true Media personnel (feeler mode) :D, because I got to get along with Media personalities and tourists as well. We traveled 7 municipalities and venture different beautiful spots and highlights in every area and got a lot of food and drinks every stop over. It was a fun learning unforgettable experience indeed. :)
My second day of duty. My senior is out of town, so I decided to go with Jen (my besh and co-intern) and her senior Ms. Albe to cover a Press Conference at the Governor's office. I felt so excited because its my first time to enter the office of the Governor of Cebu.. :) So, when I get there, I met different media practitioners from print, tv, and radio. Unexpectedly, came Jem Cubil, a grand finalist of Pilipinas Got Talent. He dropped by the office to visit. I was so shocked and was starstruck. We did a little bit picture taking and autograph signing. :)
Came up my mind, I didn't regret going with Jen and Ms. Albe. I got to saw Jem. ♥ :D
It was my first day as an intern. I feel so nervous yet excited at the same time. Nervous because I have no idea of what's gonna happen to me and what will I be doing in the workplace, who will be my seniors and how will I be going to start. Excited on the other hand because I am going to wear my NEW PRACTICUM uniform (ayyeee!), meeting new people and exploring new place on where to practice my skills and apply what I have learned in my 3 years of pure studying. It was a RELAXED day then, we just have our orientation on the first day. Chill. :)
