The value of an education is so important during these times. Why would they want to end these much needed services. It would be impossible to advance your life. Everyone should be given the oppertunity to move foreward if they choose to. What are the people in power thinking? Why would getting an education ever be an issue? Stop and think about what you would do to the world if you took that away. It would be total maddness.

What is up with all the killing in Chicago? It seems like everytime I turn on the news someone has gotten shot. Has the world gone insane? It seem like people do not have any respect for human life. People need more positive things to do in this city. Why is it so much hate in the world? There needs to be a change or we are all in real trouble. What do you think???

I guess the people in power don't really think about what happens if you take away the hope. We are living on borrowed time. People don't have enough money enough hope enough food to eat. Enough is enough when will this uneveness in the world end? Why is it becomming more and more impossible to get an education? We need a change to occur and we need it to happen now.

I strongly believe that by ending the G.E.D. program will have a great impact on adult in the city of Chicago alone.Yes this is something that has been offered free and maybe its felt that people has taken advantage of it, but we must to look at the larger picture as far as how this program has helped millions of people.It sad to say that if this program is put to an end many people willn't be able to take care of their families witch will have a dramatice effect on the ecomony. We must let it be heard that this program can't end we need it more know than ever...We mst speak and be heard.. Less knot just talk about it less be about it......April

I believe the world would be in a bigger mess than it's in now. there would be more anarchy, more violence the world would be a mess.

ms, it would be a catastrophy it,in way it,s going to affect the left preveledge people who could not afford to have early education due to personal reasons. It will deprive them the opportunity of having a second chance of life. It would be hard on them to have colledge to attain a higher stage in life. I these politicians can look into this and let other people have a second chance.

I believe that wouldn't be a good idea considering the fact that everyone is so busy telling us what we need instead of helping us and the programs that do want to help us are about to be aborted it's like talking into a hollow tube noone's on the other end listening. People need to speak up as whole and fight against it.
