I started writing as a young child when my adopted mother started abusing me. I have a way of attracting drama and the best way to cope is by writing.. I always wanted to become an author but I have a fear of not being accepted.. I remember how happy as a child I was when I won first place in a book contest..
I want to leave this earth knowing that I have made a difference in someones life..

You write because it makes you feel good. You write because it makes you happy! Who cares what other people think or feel. Writing is about you and your journey. By the way, I lost the 12 pounds without exercising. However, when i did begin to exercise, the weight dropped out fast and it reprogramed my body into fat burning which means that is resets your metabolism. By the way, this is not a diet...that's the best thing about it. Try it and see.

Working in Juvenile Justice is fascinating and can be very rewarding. I worked at Central Juvenile Hall as a therapist for a year. Sometimes it was heartbreaking, other times I could see real growth. Loved "my kids." The saddest was a boy who told me he would rather be at juvvie than at home. Says something, doesn't it? Maybe you could write about JJ.
