Hello, I'm Evon and I'm finally okay with saying that I'm a little bit country (okay, maybe a lot country). Born and raised in Kentucky, but currently living in central Texas. My little family consists of my husband, my three year old son, and our 6 month old crazy kitten. I am a stay at home mom and a proud military spouse. I support my country and my community and I always try to connect and buy local first. I am almost always positive and optimistic! I always try to look on the bright side of whatever situation I am in. I like to laugh (a lot) and I love cheesy humor. Life is too short to get bent out of shape over silly things!
I love doing so many things that I often bounce around from project to project. I knit on occasion, and I've tried crocheting as well (but I'm still no good at it!). Mostly I love to cook, bake, and make jewelry. DIY projects are my favorite and I've got an accumulation of them that I haven't even gotten to try yet. I love thrifting and antique shopping, and I'm learning to sew and alter clothes. I love roller derby and I've been training on my own in hopes of joining my local league soon.
