1. What is Bloggers.com?

   Bloggers.com is online community to connect Blog writers to exchange Idea, Interest and Blog sites. More

2. I don't have any Blog, can I join Bloggers.com?

   Yes. Everyone is welcome.

3. Can I create new category?

   Use Tags. Tags acts like user defined Categories for your profile. In addition to that select any of the Categories that match your Interest.

4. Does Bloggers.com Host Blog?

   No. We do not host Blogs. Reason is there are already many free Blog hosting services and tools. However, we recommend Opensource Blog authoring tools.

5. How can I add Blog site?

   Accounts>Manage Blog sites>Add New Blog site
   
   

6. How can I proof ownership of my Blog?

   We assume blog owner has full access to his/her blog. If you own a blog do this by adding a badge or link in your blog.

   
   

   1. Visit blog.http://bloggers.com/get_badges and select one of the badges that matches with the style of your Blog. Copy html code and place in sidebar, footer or any other places in your Blog home page.
   2. Second way is simply placing a link of http://bloggers.com/ . It does not matter if that link has an image or just a text link.
   

   Verification process is done with an automated script and it takes upto 48 hours.

   

   Please note that this process is applicable to Blogs only. Bloggers user accounts are not supposed to get affected with this process.

7. How can I change my picture?

   Login and Go to Accounts > Change Picture
   
   

8. I see my profile is no longer active. Why?

   Get sure you have clicked on email verification link after registration. In some cases your profile might be banned for Vulgar, Unsocial or Attacking texts or message. This is to prevent spammers and get rid of vandalism.

9. Is my information viewable to all?

   Most of the information are public except private email. This is to get rid of email harvestors.

10. Can I use the site content in my own blog?

    Yes! Unless specified all contents are released under Creative common license.

11. I have some suggestions. Whom should I contact?

12. How can I be the Featured Blogger?

    We want to promote Blog profiles who has provided detail information, active and maintaining a Good Blog. To become a candidate of Featured Blogger you must.
    
    a. Complete your user profile. We encourage well written text that describe your interest. Too short profiles means lack of seriousness. User profile must not contain any URL or Email.
    Go to User Account>Edit Profile for updating your profile.
    b. User must change default Avatar and complete other fields in Account. Avatar with real pictures will get better chance.
    c. Blog information should be correct and Submitter must Own the Blog. In case we find it suspicious we may ask to show proof of ownership.
    d. Any profile or site solely for internet marketing or affiliated marketing will get less chance to be the featured Blogger.

13. Can I use non-english text? Can I use my own language?

    Currently Bloggers.com is for English only. To prevent abuse you are requested not to use any non-english texts. Other langauges will be available soon.

14. I used to use pinger service. Are you going to add that service in this site?

    Currently there is no pinger service but if based on request we can add this service in the server.

15. Is this service free? Then how do you sustain?

    Yes. This site is free and supported by Sponsor advertisements. We request you to visit our sponsors' site and keep it growing.
