Yankee born girl, born in 1948. Married, moved South in 1969. I have alot to say about the South and what I've learned raising 3 children, running 2 businesses, two husbands, etc. Some of my stories could fill a book. A Yankee girl living and learning Southern ways can be sad and funny. No family at that time living in Miss. A Chicago girl that got freaked out by the way I had to live. BUt, I think I handled it greatly. I didn't give up and tried to make the best and most positive out of bad, lean years. It can be done!! I did it.
