hi socalledlawyer, i really like your knowledgable comments and now really need your advise. should a staff be informed if there is a change in his/her pms rating (after the final sign-off between the staff and her/his supervisor). in my situation, i was curious why my increment doesnt tally with my pms rating, and was later informed by a hr staff that my rating was reduced by deputy COO without my or my supervisors knowledge. i am aware that we are not supposed to discuss about our ratings and increments between colleagues, therefore am willing to embrace the fact that nothing could be done about my increment. but at least i want to know on what basis do they reduce my pms rating and if possible on proper and dated document so i can be rest assured that i am not just a casualty of mismanagement. if they say i didnt meet my kpi, i need them to show proof because i have met all my deliverables expectation for the year 2009. i have approached my COO on this, but was ignored completely as i have been transferred to a different company but still within the same group. would really appreciate it if you could share your expert opinion on this. thanks loads.
