I'm retired and living a very good life. I've moved to a retirement community that allows me the best of everything. By that I mean I don't have to do anything except take care of myself. I don't have to take care of a house, which is money and time consuming. With a house you are always worrying about something breaking. What is going to break next, or the roof (leaking?) yep it's always something. Everybody wants a house, but believe me it's a burden if your the only one there and there is no money for the extra thing that breaks. Well now I don't have to worry about anything. For the last week I can tell you I've been in paradise. I did leave 3k sq ft and moved to 650 sq ft which is a challenge but I needed to get rid of a lot of junk anyway. I have two children and a dog and cat. Right now the cat is being a challenge because with the move she became panicked and will not come to me. I keep going back to the house to try and catch her but she will not come to me. A friend told me to remove her food then when she sees me she'll be glad. I'm trying that now. Okay that's me, so now to the blog I'm going to start.

Well had my feet tested at Georgia Tech, she said I'm pretty good, however I didn't feel the pressure test until it was quite high. Not good.

Getting ready to go to Georgia Tech to have special tests done on my feet. I'm diabetic, they are doing these test to find out what walking does to the feet of the diabetic. I would have thought this type of test would have been done years ago.

Marki and Bette also find love right in front of them. Who would'a thought? Life could not be better, never a dull moment! Went yesterday for the first time to a writers group meeting. It was interesting, the focus of the night was publishing a book. The speakers view was a lot different than mine, but she has a successful book out there, I don't. I'm working on it but for now it's not successful. She focused on going to book conventions in SFO and SEA, for what I think is a lot of money and can't afford. She said you might or might not get to speak to someone that can help you get published with a big house. One that will give you an advance, and market for you. Sounds good, but remember you might or might not get to speak to someone to pitch your book. All of this for about 1000$. To much for me, and to risky. The end of the night was spent with different people reading several pages of the current book they are working on. They were all interesting, some I liked more than others, but in the end it gave me a really good view on the group and loved how everyone gave feedback to these authors to better their writing. All good.

Oh yeah I forgot to give the latest update about my cat. Nothing has changed, she will not come close. My son however has found a no kill cage I'm going to borrow.

Okay Christmas is almost here and I working on my cranky daughter. She's been angry with me for four years. Why you wonder, beets the hell out of me. Anyway I've sent cards, called sent word through my son, but so far nothing. Today I called her and left a message reminding her that family is so important and we want her to participate in Christmas with us. I've not heard back from her and I'm not holding my breath that she will call. Hopefully all of you good people will send a prayer up for my grumpy daughter. I would love her have her back in my life. And I want to thank you good people for welcoming me to the blogger's group. I hope to have fun here.
