I write comments, hopefully humorous, generally cutting, on life in general and the frequently bizarre world we live in. I was born in N Dorset in England on the family dairy farm and went to Gillingham Grammar School. I worked until I was 67 and am now retired, living in Bulgaria, and still working on our house and garden but not being paid for it. Working life ranged from dairy farming to road transport, electronic engineering to marketing, writing and painting etc. normally self employed. Apart from the UK I've worked and lived in Nigeria, Greece and Menorca before settling here in Bulgaria. I am married to Janine, two lovely daughters, and lots of grandchildren. I've never done anything for more than five years as I bore easily, but have been lucky enough to always find something more interesting to do around the corner.
