The Application of Co-operative Teaching and Learning Model of the Investigation Group (GI) to Increase the Appreciating Folktale Ability on the Tenth Grade Students of F at SMA 1 Gemolong, Sragen Regency in 2009/2010. Thesis: Post Graduate Program of Sebelas Maret University.
The aim of this research is to describe, to explain the application of teaching and learning model of the Investigation Group (GI) and to increase the appreciating folktale ability on the tenth grade students of F at SMA 1 Gemolong by applying this model.
This research is as classroom action research done three times and each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subject is the students of the tenth grade of F at SMA 1 Gemolong, Sregen regency in 2009/2010.
The source of data is taken from the teacher and the students, the place and the event of teaching and learning process activity, and documents. The technique and the data collecting use questionnaires, observation, and interview. The data validity uses the data triangulation. The data analysis uses the qualitative analysis.
The result of this research shows that before being held the classroom action research, the average of the students’ ability in appreciating folktale 64,16, 68,32 after getting the first cycle, 72,65 on the second cycle, and 80,16 on the third cycle. Meanwhile, based on the evaluation process, teaching and learning of folktale appreciation also increases in every cycle, 73,26 on the first cycle, 74,84 on the second cycle, and 78,81 on the third cycle. Based on the observation of teacher’s work also supports his increase so that it influences the appreciating folktale ability on the tenth grade students of F at SMA 1 Gemolong.
Based on the result of the above research, it is concluded that application of co-operative teaching and learning model of the Investigation Group (GI) can increase the appreciating folktale ability on the tenth grade students at SMA 1 Gemolong, Sragen regency in 2009/2010
ABSTRACT
The Study of Intertextuality and Education Values on Ahmad Tohari’s “Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk” and Arswendo Atmowiloto’s “Canting” by Sumanto.
This reserch aims are describe and explain: (1) structures Component Composed of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Canting; (2) the similarities and differences novel structure of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Canting; (3) the similarities and differences of local color on Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Canting; (4) education values containing on Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Canting’s novel.
The research used a descriptive qualitative method. This method was used explore the source information and data were presented in the literary text forms there fore, the data appear in this research are not in statistically conceptual. The collecting data used in this research is uninteraction technique, by following steps: (1) Reading and record technique by intensive reading of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Canting novel then giving specific sign. (2) Record the document by content analysis. Parts with the specific sign are classified to complete the information needed for easier document analysis. (3) Document analysis technique. The data which had been collected, then were analyzed with interactive model of analysis by three activities, there are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification.
The result of the study with intertextuality approach showed that (1) the two novels had structure components in the term of theme, characterization, and setting. According to structural method that they had similarities and differences. The two novels showed culture and characterization Javanese peoples. While the differences on setting side. Novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk had rural environment but Canting’s novel had metropolis environment; (2) they had similarities and differences on local color. The local color of Javanese social community are the same on Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel and Canting novel. While the differences are Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel showed the local color of a Javanese social community with rural environment, while Canting novel showed the local color of a Javanese social community with metropolis environment; (3) Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel early published than Canting novel. The story of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk beginning from 1957 until more less 1970, While Canting novel until more less 1980. (4) Values both the novels had social cultural and religious education. Values education of social cultural of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novels discuss about proletariat community, while on Canting novel discuss about upper classes.
The religiousness of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel showed relationship between peoples and God are represented by Rasus figure, while the religiousness in Canting novel showed by tradition ceremony.

This study aims to describe and to explain: 1) the level of legibility of the book, 2) the balance of the learning aspects, such as the four language skills in the book, 3) the linkage of language skills contained in the book, 4) the suitability of the contents with the applicable curriculum, and 5) Indonesian language teacher perceptions of the book "Memahami Bahasa Indonesia SMK untuk Bidang Keahlian Teknik Mesin, Teknik Elektro, dan Teknik Bangunan" or abbreviated as "MBI SMK" by Euis Honiatri.
This research located in SMKN 1 Miri, Sragen. This study uses descriptive qualitative on a single case study. The data is taken from MBI SMK books grade X, XI, and XII as well as informants consisting of Indonesian language teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this study are a cloze test, interviews and document analysis. Participants chosen were a teacher at SMKN 1 Miri, and two senior teachers at SMK Sukawati and SMK Muhammadiyah 2, Sragen. The validity of the data is examined with the data source triangulation and triangulation of data collection methods. The collected data were analyzed interactively with component analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion.
From these studies we can conclude that 1) the level of legibility of the MBI SMK book in SMK N 1 Miri grade X is 30.43%, grade XI is 31.10%, and 42.43% for grade XII. It means, the level of legibility for grade X and XI is low, while it is legible for grade XI. 2) The aspects of language learning in the book is not balance for there is a lack of linguistic learning, conversation skills, listening skills, and appreciation of literature. 3) The aspects of learning in MBI SMK book does not have strong links. The only binding aspects of learning is the theme. 4) MBI SMK book has not yet fulfilled the standard of KTSP. KTSP uses multistrategy approach, multimedia learning resources, appropriate technology, and also utilizes the environment as a learning resource, while this book does not. 5) According to the perceptions of the teachers, MBI SMK book is categorized less. It can be seen from the pattern of the preparation of which does not meet the defined criteria; the order and the structure are not systematic, the content does not comply with the required curriculum, the development of the subject matter and the themes are narrow and shallow, the language used is inappropriate, and also there is a lack of pictures as supporting media of reading.
