Hi. My name is Teresa and I am the Founder of Independent Travel Help (ITH), which is a travel website and blog, with the specific aims of inspiring, motivating and providing women aged 35 with the information they need to make the decision to travel in a way that is right for them.

The reason for starting it came from my own experience as a woman in her late 30s who aspired to travelling independently and seeing the world... but never did. It's quite different when you travel at that age because it's not as simple as deciding where to go and then going. There are more things to think about and sort out, not to mention the anxiety that comes with doing something like that.

I want to my blog to inspire women and give them ideas of things they can do and places they can go. I want to motivate women to do it, if it really is something they want to do. Finally, I want to provide them with the practical information they need when they are preparing to travel, during their travels and when they return.

I am always looking for ideas of things to include so if there is something you would like me to cover, please drop me a line and let me know.
