I have always been an active person, but it's not until I joined martial arts in my mid 20's that I became obsessed with fitness and the amazing things that the human body can do.
When I started competing nationally and had to literally make my 'fighting weight', I started to learn a great deal about nutrition as well.
Eating well and overall fitness has become a lifestyle for me. I've started this blog as a way to share some of the things that I have learned over the past 10 years.
Cooking has also become a major hobby of mine. I spend a lot of my free time creating tasty and healthy meals for my family and friends. I will also be sharing healthy food ideas in my blog.

Hi Je Ann! I'm fond of Japanese food because their small servings make me bite small bits too, endearing me to chew more slowly and digest my food in a moderate way.
However, I have a sweet tooth and sometimes I can't control my craving for sweets. But I'll try your suggestion, Next time, I'll split a slice of cake with a friend so it would be less tempting.

I'm a huge fan of Japanese food too (simple, fresh, and natural). :)
We all struggle with cravings for sweets. I try to split desserts with my husband or sister whenever I need a sweet fix.
