In Notes from the Driving Seat, I discuss the things that occur to me as I go about living life the way I have chosen to live it. It's about people, it's about gender, it's about driving.
I am a feminist. It's taken me years to come to point of being able to say that. I am not a feminist activist in any way, but I live my feminism. I am interested in women's history, in women's perspective, in women's way of knowing. I challenge stereotypes by doing things that people don't expect women to do.
I like being a woman, I like playing with people's perceptions, I like putting myself in situations which force me to challenge my identity to make it stronger.
