First off, I guess introductions are in order, if you just found the hub:

A quick rundown of me: Beer/wine elitist, I write as a hobby (kinda obvious, I guess) and to supplement my income, uber-liberal, recent 1/2 marathoner, info/news wonk, soccer fanatic, bikram yoga newcomer, vegan, political junkie, occupy supporter, & on a quest to become bilingual (w/ German). When I'm not doing any of that, I try to sleep.

I write about many of my own interests and a bunch of others. I do try to add a bit of humor as well, to make some of the bad news go down easier.
