Jessica Lares
I'm only 24, so I don't have much of a biography to begin with. ;) I don't remember a day in my life where I didn't have access to a computer, and I was a pro when it came to the internet before there was Google.
Pretty much all my life I've dabbled in art, writing, music, and photography. In my first year of college, I focused mostly on music production, but now I'm just about done with a certificate in 3D animation and doing a few things on my own like learning how to develop games and apps on my free time.
I enjoy playing video games, reading comic books/newspaper comic strips (and read very little actual books, heh), and longform writing. I spend most of my time reading The Verge, The Next Web, Mental Floss, and various other publications on my growing Newsstand folder.
My blog isn't about anything in particular, just things that come up in the day, or opinion pieces I've been brainstorming in my mind for awhile. I have a speech impediment and have trouble with English to begin with (even though I'm from here!), so my writing is very casual, and very blunt.
And I'm very pro-Apple. The first Macintosh I used was around 1992. But I have a long history of using Windows based computers too, so don't think I'm biased! If I'm going to write an opinion on something, I'll always be sure to make a balanced assessment and tell you why I specifically don't like something, instead of just saying because it's by such and such company.
