Wow! I'm following, voted and added you as a friend. Your blog is extremely well written and inspiring. I loved it. It's so hard to find blogs spiritual blogs that are unique and not the same old typical daily bible quotes. Which, don't get me wrong I love those! But I also have been searching desperately for a good quality, unique blog that is about God and gives inspiration. On your latest post, I found a lot of things you'd written very helpful in the time I am going through at the moment. You talked about relying on God and that was just perfect for me to come across today as my area was hit hard with 3 tornadoes (so many other states were as well) we've never had tornadoes and are totally unprepared and the town is just in ruins. We're working so hard to provide food, a place to shelter (we dont even have shelters in my area. We're using our homes and churches) and trying to provide so much with so little. It was a nice reminder to rely on and trust God and not ourselves. :) Thanks for that uplifting post!
Great Job in juggling school, romance, and life in general...God is faithful to lead and protect
Ron,
Well written. I loved your 'I survived a 1 week class.' We have all been there.
Hi Ron!
Sorry I didn't see your response from December 31 until today. *redface* I don't know how to set notifications to where I get a notification regarding responses. And there may not be such an option.
I don't mind you asking at all. These days I most often fall in the agnostic camp. I sent you a private message a few minutes ago.
Again thanks...and my apologies for not seeing the response until tonight.

I am looking forward to view your blog as well. Have a great day.

Hi Ron,
Found you through the "talks" pages. I see you are just down the road in Wake Forest. I'm over in Winston.
If you take a gander at my blogs, etc., you'll see I was a longtime follower of The Way International. I left in 2005.
I bring this up, because I have a friend (now a Methodist pastor) who lives over near Wake Forest. He too used to be with The Way and left in the past 5 years. So I'm wondering if you might know him...Cliff Wall? I'm simply curious. I've made quite a few "serendipitous" (or provindential, depending on one's viewpoint) connections via cyberspace.
Anyhoo...nice to meet your cyber-acquaintance. And congratulations on your engagement and soon to be receiving (if I understand correctly) your M.Div.
Cheers and peace,
~carol welch
Hi Carol!
Glad you found me on the site. I took a look at your Soulfeet blog and learned a lot about The Way. I have not previously been familiar with them, and I am a bit disturbed at what I've read. What do you believe now, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm sorry I don't know Cliff Wall here in Wake Forest. However, this town isn't too big, so it wouldn't be a stretch for me to have met him.
Thanks for the encouraging words and it was very nice to meet you as well!
Ron
