My name is Lohith G N. And Kashyapa is my pen name. I am 32 year old male from Bangalore, India. I am a resident of Mysore another beautiful town, down south of India a.k.a Royal city. Currently residing in Bangalore because of my job.
I completed my Bachelor of Engineering, a 4 year degree course from Mysore University – Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore in the year 2000. My specialization in my degree was Production Engineering. During first year we had to program in FORTRAN. Got so excited with programming that i joined a 1 year cours from NIIT called GNIIT. Thats how i first landed on to Software. Learnt C, C++, UNIX Shell Scripts and Sybase.
After completing my engineering in 2000, joined a course in Java for nearly 3 months. But Java boom went down in 2001 and that left me stranded. Thats when i tried a hand in Microsoft ASP. Since then it has been a roller coaster ride for me in the world of Microsoft Technologies. I started my career in 2001 and it has been a fruitful 9 years in the industry.
Currently i am employed in one of the Fortune 500 company, a $5 Billion company in the capacity of Senior Specialist Microsoft .NET technology. In these 9 years it has been various lines of projects that i have worked on ranging from Web Apps to Java-.NET conversation to SOA to Rich client bases apps.
I have lately started to blog my personal encounters in .NET and also i present at UG sessions here in Bangalore and Mysore.
