Why do I blog? Like you said, it is a creative outlet. Since I started blogging, I felt my creative juices START to flow like a continuous stream. Ok, my blogs may not be that creatively written at all but I am writing and expressing myself more now. And I am able to articulate in full the thoughts that, on ordinary days, I could not express at all. Maybe because a computer does not interrupt? nor make you insecure?
Well, I blog because of the opportunity to express myself. Then, for the friends that I can have. Another reason is that I can earn from it.
Blogging liberates. Blogging empowers.
