On the outskirts of Varanasi, Kristian Bertel searched for local captions in his pictures. The woman was preparing some food. Nice photos - I remember Varanasi for the crystal clear river - a veritable mountain stream of pure, watery goodness. It smelled like spring and tasted like sunshine.
