My name is Lady Ram, as the boxing world call me. A pro woman boxer, personal trainer, and middle-school math teacher from Florida, my real name is Laura Ramsey. I began my boxing career in 2003 and have traveled the globe boxign in Russia, Sweden, China, Guyana, Germany, Bermuda, Canada, and throughout the US.
I obtain a BA Degree in Management and I am Florida state certified in Physical Education and Mathematics. With my experience as a boxer, teacher, gym owner, and multi-talented athlete I am creating ways to utilize my knowledge helping expose the younger generation of athletes.
Currently, I am preparing to enter into the pro boxing promotions arena by gaining experience with promoting amateur boxing/combat events around Florida. In collaboration with Beat The Streets Foundation and Polk County MMA & Boxing, I play an active role with matchmaking, networking, and marketing.
Currently, I'm in the process of founding the Female Fight Force of Florida; an all-female fight club based out of Central Florida that trains, promotes, and seek matches for its members. With boxing becoming an Olympic sport in 2012 for women and with MMA recently being approved in Florida, these females will have a stage to showcase their talents, gain experience and exposure. As preliminary plans are underway for the first-ever Female Fight Force of Florida amateur show in September, great opportunities are envisioned for these athletes and local businesses that become sponsors.

FEMALE FIGHT FORCE OF FLORIDA presents its very first ALL-FEMALE TOURNAMENT: a combat competition for participants of boxing, MMA, grappling, kickboxing, and BJJ. The FFF is also inviting all competitors around the state with at least 2 months experience to join in the SHOWDOWN Saturday September 18, 2010 at 10am for weigh-ins. Venue to be determined at a later date.
This event was inspired by the FFF wanting to provide female athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents and sportsmanship through legitimate competition.
