I started this blog for parents to talk to other parents. Being a parent myself I often found myself facing my kids issues alone. I would have benefited greatly from a bit of advise from other parents. I had some great friends and my parents were always around but sometimes I didn't want to talk with them. Or, I didn't think they would understand. It would have also been great to connect with someone who had dealt with the same or similar problems as I was.
I am a divorced Mom of two teenagers, a nurse of 22 years and counting, an animal lover, a tale teller, a daughter, a sister and a freind.
