The Byronic Man

Recently voted "The Best Humor Blog in America That I, Personally, Write," The Byronic Man is sometimes fiction, sometimes autobiography. And sometimes cultural criticism. Oh, and occasionally reviews. Okay, it's all those different things, but always humorous. Except on the occasions that it's not. Ah, geez. Look, it's a lot of things, okay? You might like it, is the point.

The author (spoiler alert: it's me) is a former stand-up comedian, who quit that life for something with hopefully more meaning.

I write and perform still, and the blog is the primary outlet for that, in whatever forms it takes from there. As the name implies, it also is about my own byronic nature - spells of intense fervor, followed by total self-destruction. Which is delightful.
