I am the father of a two year old and am creating this blog as sort of a time capsule for him. Well, that was the original idea.

I started out just wanting to talk about movies, but then it became about reviewing them and making fun of them (and therefore seeing them...in large quantities). I have always loved film and studied it in college. Now, I'm staying up entirely too late and watching movies that are usually pretty terrible. Oh well, I dig it.

I'm an English teacher by day (relax, it's middle school) so I enjoy discussing the elements of a story. I wish my site had more people commenting, because I really love to discuss the finer points of whatever (don't we all?). Especially in a thoughtful, though often ridiculous, manner.
