CoolChic is a personal blog made by Mia de la Torre. It tells about the special events in her life. Inspiration and new discoveries. Different places where she travelled and people she was with. There are also fashion articles, feeds and photos that she really enjoyed sharing through Chictopia and Lookbook.

Mia studied in University of San Carlos and took up Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Literature. She also studied Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Cebu Institute of Technology-University. Joined Youth for Christ since high school at Asian College of Technology. She used to write on the school paper and continued to write occasionally on her blog now. Mia decided to stop studying for a moment and work for the family and for herself. She worked on several call centers in Cebu and met a lot of people. Blended with different group of friends and discovered fashion.

Currently, Mia stays in Talisay City Cebu where she works as a Technical Support Representative of 1&1 Internet Philippines, a web hosting company owned by United Internet, a German Internet company located in Asiatown, IT Park, Salinas Drive, Lahug Cebu City.
