My husband and I have raised nine children on a hobby farm and discovered fufillment and purpose. Slowly I began to realize that my calling, my vocation and my witness to the world was the joy of mothering.

We grow an enormous garden which is large enough to feed our extended family and the wild animals who think that our garden is grown especially for them. Chickens, pigs, meat birds, a calf, two horses, cats, a dog and other various pets over the years are part of our inclusive family. I love gardening multiple gardens on 7 acres, refurbishing our new (1886) home, reading, writing. and crotchetting blankets as gifts for my kids
