Oneperson
Writing is like breath to me. That may change at some point; yet, it has transformed my emotional, psychological, & physical life.
Like other folks in their 50s, I've trekked life's hills & valleys and continue to integrate lessons of past & present. That is mainly what I write about - life as I have and continue to experience it. It's the only thing I really feel I am authority on, and sometimes I'm not even sure about that.
My journey has led me through various spiritual paths, surviving chronic health issues with multiple surgeries, caring for a quadriplegic father and bipolar mother, bearing two children, home-eclectic-unschooling my children, a continued marriage going on 26 years, and more.
My interests involve art, animals, reading, hiking, backpacking, blogging, writing, nature, poetry, memoir, music, psychology, mental health, alternative & integrative & mind-body medicine, child development, education, sociology, post cult-recovery, spiritual matters, and more. I enjoy people, animals, time alone, snow, sunshine, cold, hot, rain, clear skies, fast, slow, & in-between.
Thanks for visiting!
