How many times have you caught yourself saying “If only I had known…” or “If someone had told me this would happen…” or “Had I known then what I know now…”

Hindsight is 20/20. If you had known you would experience the world’s worst stomach flu on that group camping trip in the mountains, you probably would have stayed home with your couch (and a bucket). If you had known your brand new ‘do would earned you an entire school year’s worth of unflattering nicknames, you might have cancelled that salon appointment. If you had known how perfect that weekend on the shore was going to be, you would have snapped one more photograph.

While every experience (blissful, awful, and delightfully awkward) shapes the fine people we are today, we can’t deny that there are times when we wish we could teleport back in time, stand before our younger selves, and deliver a message from The Future. If you could…what would you say?

From that question, The Picture Me Project was born: a collage of photos from the past and the stories behind them. I hope each face you see inspires you to add your own memory to the mix.
