Is The UN Peace keeping Force an Oxymoron?
― As always, I'm getting straight to the point. The UN peace keeping force always embedes itself in areas where there is a war, a civil war, genocide, or the slaughtering of the innocent. Yet it does nothing. Isn't peace supposed to kept where there is peace already? Case in point, Cote D'Ivoire; because of incumbent president Laurent Gbagbo's insolence, people are dying. All of this is going on while the UN is in Cote D'Ivoire. Why does The UN even bother? They are not supposed to be there; since [...].
