SayAfrica! ― ∙ There is a large dam that borders our farm and next to the forest. This dam was revered for it was said to have mystical powers. We were cautioned not to go near since it was rumored to be infested by crocodiles. Popular believe had it that the dam once swallowed some white man’s cows.
