On being 'grown up'
― since jason and i moved in together last summer, i've been thinking a lot about 'growing up'. i think there's a vast difference between those life-defining moments when we officially become adults (turning 18, being legally allowed to vote (and drink!) and the comparatively tiny, insignificant moments that actually make you feel like a 'real-life grown up'. i always feel strangely grown up when i phone my ma in the evenings to tell her what i've been up during the day, instead of having a catch [...].
