― I was first introduced to the work of Richard Calmes via the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Facebook page. The photo was one of Aisha Mitchell over the New York City skyline. I fell in love instantly. Upon looking at the work Calmes has done outside of Ailey, I have learned to admire him even more.
