― Nothing beats a professional blow-dry. Nothing. Even in this worrisome economic climate, I still see women waiting in (comfortably seated) line at the hairdressers. So maybe we don't go every week, or even every month...sob, sob...but come that special occasion, the wedding, the matric ball, the date of the decade, the special event that may go down in history as the most memorable day of our lives...might... we get our hair done. ∙ I admit, it's not high on my list, what with wee sons [...].
