Sundays In My City
― One of the hardest things about going to the Mall with my kids these days is that I have to go on a day when the Best Friend of Charleston Railway Museum is open... because both boys have a meltdown if we can't go in to play... and I don't blame them... look at all the cool things they have... ∙ There is also a Model Train Club that meets next door to the museum and keeps the same hours... the boys are fascinated by that as well... MALLS are no longer for adults and shopping only. There is plenty in a mall that captivates children. For my 18 months old grand daughter, the escalator is a thrill. Children have so much to see and touch and learn from adults. If adults can spend hours delving in latest technology, why not the child in all the sights and play things availed. Parents must plan
the hours so that the child enjoyed the time at the mall as well.
