― Last night, along with one billion other tv viewers I sat down to watch the London Olympic Opening Ceremony. ∙ Starting at 9 o clock the ceremony lasted well into the early hours of the morning. ∙ Directed by Danny Boyle the event certainly had a lot of hype surrounding it. With rumors circulating for weeks about what the themes were and what was to be included in the evening.
