― I think it's safe to say that real, and actually funny comedy in Kenya started with the Redykyulas crew. Remember these guys, Nyambane, KJ and Tony? Even the then president, Moi, was happy with these cats (not everyone could make fun of the old guy and walk away with it). These guys paved the way for most comedians and made it possible for sketch comedy to work in Kenya. ∙ Sadly, every good thing comes to an end, and so it did.
