― "What do you need?" is a great place to start. Probably one of the very best ministry questions you can ask. But be ready for ∙ 1) a person who has never been asked such a question and is clueless about what they need or ∙ 2) a person desperately in need so overwhelming that some of the first needs seem so basic, simple, and not possibly the real need. ∙ Don't be surprised!
