What the hell is Okinawa anyway?
― Thing of it is... some of my readers all ready know I'm a military brat. I'm not a kid anymore but military brats always consider themselves military brats forever. It's kind of like dual citizenship. Back in the 1950s, my father, who was in the Air Force was stationed in Okinawa, part of the Ryukyu Island chain (an island prefecture of Japan).
