Launched in August 2009, Holdin' Out for a Hero exists to promote awareness of Spina Bifida using both online and offline platforms, and to chronicle founder Laura's life with SB.
It has created a loyal community of followers both within the SB community and outside it, and is also a place where resources are shared with families.
