I am a 30 year old mother of 5. Four boys and 1 girl. Ages are 10,9,8,7, and 6. 2 of my children are ADHD. I face so many struggles on a daily basis its not even funny. I married at the age of 19 thinking I knew everythig there was to know about the world. Boy was I wrong!! I had my first child at the age of 20 and another each year for the next four years. My marriage ultimately failed 7 years later due to domestic violence, leaving me to raise my 5 children. The judge granted me sole custody of my kids and ordered that the father not be alllowed any visitecion rights, and monthly child support in the amount of 1800.00. To this day I have not recieved one cent from him. I have faced so many struggles with my children from losing our house and having to live in a shelter to having no money at all to give them the experiences every child should have. I never thought I would make it this far, but I have. Every day brings another battle to be fought and every day I fight it and WIN IT!! I don't know how sometimes but I manage to. I think with all the experiences I have gone through and the ones yet to face me I can not only share but actually inspire and encourage others like myself. Look at me 30 with 5 school aged children and just starting my second semester of college myself. It can be done and it will be done!!!!!
