I'm Rachael from Auckland, New Zealand, single Mummy to the gorgeous Princess and ex wife of Wasband.
I am currently studying at the University of Auckland to become a primary school teacher. When I finish my degree I am planning on running away to teach English overseas. After that I am going to buy a cute, rundown and totally livable cottage in the South of France where I will teach English and cycle on my black, vintage of course, bicycle with a wicker basket to the village everyday for my wine and bread!
When I first started blogging I had a vintage shop, loved Shabby Chic, roses and cherubs. My house was filled with clutter and shop stock.
These days my interests have changed somewhat, I am totally focused on learning and extending my professional and self development. I love to read and write and cook and meet new people and, well I just love life!
I live in a castle, my living room and bedroom are a ballroom and I am slowly redecorating, out with the shabby roses and in with sexy sophistication.
While I have lost my passion for Shabby Chic, I still love to turn old crap into new cool looking old crap!
