I enjoy simple pleasures in life.
I like the outdoors -nature and animals.
I have 2 cats and a nice garden. As i have no grandchildren my cats are a substitute- for now.
I am their mum.
I grew up in a medium size city of 40 thousand population with my brother and parents in Moncton New Brunswick Canada. We arrived in Halifax from overseas and lived in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
i loved it there it is a harbor town and we could hear the tugboats and their foghorns.
My parents were born in the UK and migrated to Canada when I was a child. My grandparents were Welsh.
I went to school and college in Canada and trained to be a primary teacher.
i got married and moved to Australia in 1974, where i have lived ever since.
Australia is a wonderful country, the people are excellent and i enjoy living here.
I have been back to Canada to see family but i would love to travel as a tourist and see the beautiful country.
I love to read and also am interested in art and crafts, used to do a lot of sewing and hope to 'get back' to sewing. i started a fashion TAFE course which i really loved but i only half completed.
I lost a son in a car accident in 1993.
That changed everything forever.
He was an artist studying at Bundamba TAFE when he went off on a trip up north on the Bruce Highway. He was only a passenger in a car and wasn't wearing a seat belt.

age is nothing but number, for one to feel young, it lies in the heart.as long as you allow love to come and stay in your heart and you as well give love to your fellow being,you will always have that energenic feeling of youthfulness within you. keep your mind positive because as a man thinketh in his mind so he is. keep positive, youthfull, energenic thought on your mind and they will manifest physically into you being.
