After reading my display name, you may be suspicious about whether or not this is a blogger whose ranting you are willing to read. So, before you hop over to another equally entertaining or informative blog let me give you my nutshell description: I am a widowed, slightly neurotic, marginally compulsive (only with cleaning),single woman who has taken a different approach to life, happiness and dating...by being SEXLESS. I am celebrating about 1000 days of celibacy. I won't be sexless forever, but since over half of marriages end in divorce, and the typical Hollywood marriage lasts an average of TWO years (I'm sure you're not surprised), I have discovered that actually getting to KNOW someone before sleeping with them helps to keep the dreaded wool from being pulled over your eyes because you're not blinded by visions of their nakedness, thoughts of passionate nights or plum fairies dancing around your bed posts. It may not be a popular approach yet, but it's worked for me...1000 days and counting!
