Thank you for your incite. I try to do what I can on my blog but most of my time is spent at work trying to make the money to pay bills. or doctors vistits

Ok, here's another thought. Go to Twitter, find the account of @Nisha360. She is fundraising for water for a village. She is persistant and successful in getting people to donate to her fund. She has a deadline to raise a certain amount of funds.

What you could do is raise money not only for yourself, but for other people who have kidney failure and need help to pay for their medical bills. People may also be more likely to help if it were for a group of people rather than one person. I don't know that is my perception.

With the situation of the healthcare overhaul going on in this country, some people really don't understand the plight of medical bills until it occurs to them. This is another thought you are probably running into, as well.

Try tweeting it. Then go join all the other social networks sites and talk about kidney failure and refer them to your blog.It takes time. You probably may need to become an authority on kidney failure before people will part with their dollars on the internet. Best of luck to you!
