I'm a somewhat recent journalism graduate from Columbia who was lucky enough to actually land a job in journalism a few months after graduation. It's a testament to my willpower and overall stubbornness to prove that yes, I can make a living out of being a writer in such a wretched economy. However, like many graduates I have a substantial amount of student loan debt that I will probably be paying off for the next 30 years of my life unless I manage to win the lottery or die in a freak accident. Faking my own death would not be an option either considering if anyone needed to find me, I really could not be too far away from a local Starbucks, book store, or any large building consisting of my favorite retailers...i.e. Woodfield.

Other essential things to know about me is that I primarily function off of a liquid diet consisting of Starbucks lattes in the morningand wine in the evening. As a journalist, I'll try to keep posts interesting and somewhat objective...however this IS my blog so forgive me if my view is slanted toward one way or another. :)

Follow me, add me as a friend and follow my blog if you like what you see! I like to switch it up and write a little bit of this and that everyday which pretty much sums up my life. Everyday is different so you never know what you're going to read next. ;) I only hope that you'll get a few laughs and smiles along the way.
