if you have no. posts in HUGE amount it will surely benefit you..
now,HERE.. i'm not saying that no. posts are everything for a blog,but at initial stage this is the only thing which can work for any blog.....
EXCEPT you are having a huge pocket and can run Ad campaigns...

Hmmm. tricks are nice but if you have a blog and want a good search engines visibility just follow below three steps.. no need to worry about other things
1) submit proper sitemap
2) check and be sure that crawlers are able to crawl properly
3) most important CONTENT.....CONTENT...and CONTENT.
