Ok so my blog has been up and running for a bit over a month now, I've been posting fairly regularly and doing a blog series now. My question is I'm averaging about 10 visitors per day. My blog is optimized for search engines and linked to facebook, twitter, etc. Does anyone have any ideas on what the reason for the extremely low traffic could be? Write Guest posts in other blogs. I think it is the best link building method. Without SEO we can't anything. Now google don't care bad backlinks. So we should try to create quality backlinks. Using forum is the another good one for get traffic.
I've just reached 2 months of blogging and I know how its hard to get traffic, its only as of late I have began to get more... but joining forums and making chatting and making friends tend to help build traffic and loyal followers 8)
Maybe its your blog. The design isn't comfortable for me to read. Plus, I don't know what kind of blog I was reading until I saw read several posts. And even then, the posts are nothing of interest to share or talk about.
I agree with Abdul. The bright blue color, repeating blue boxes, and the large logos make me feel uncomfortable on your site. With the rigid styling, it looks a bit 90's, and a little spammy. A lot of blog interest is not only in written content, but in images. I recommend a little customization in terms of theme. Make it a little less sanitized by adding some personal touches, and you should get visitors to stay & see if they like your content:)
Thanks for the input all. I'll start making some adjustments when I get home from work. I may add a new theme since I have no idea how to code for wordpress all I've ever done is build sites from scratch.
Here are some tips for you.
1. Comment on other blog about your niche.
2. If possible do guest post. (Not highly recommended)
3. Make it more SEO friendly like interlinking your post.
4. If you are on WordPress, then use "SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2" plugin. It is very helpful for new blogs. By using it I got some good amount traffic from Search Engine.

if you've already SEOed your blog (on-site work) maybe it's time you start building links. Guest posting will get you immediate spikes (traffic from blog you posted on) and a link as well so that'd be a nice way to start.
Try to get some high authority Backlinks and post on regular basis...And remember one thing don't write for search engines,write for your readers.I was on the same position about a year ago,but now I am getting satisfactory traffic.(specially after the penguin update).
Well, I will give you some hints as to how I got to increase my own traffic. I have also written blog posts on them.
1) Social bookmark your domain
2) Share you link on social media like Facebook and twitter
3) Create backlinks from high authority sites
4) Submit your blog, website or Facebook fanpage RSS feed for free backlinks.
5) put up articles and press releases on high article directories
Then to add to it,
1) place valuable comment on other to ranking blogs
2) Grow your recognition on Yahoo Answers by answering questions and putting a resource link
3) Do guest posting
4) Join forums
5) submit your links to blog directories.
