Few hours back all of a sudden i found that my blog has been removed. I have a personal blog titled "Flashbacks" and it has been removed. I haven't received any mails till now regarding the removal of my blog. It's not deleted accidentally as it'snot there under :Deleted Blogs". When i open my site i get the following response: Blog has been removed
Sorry, the blog at jahidakhtar.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.
Hey Jahid, sorry to hear your blog has been deleted. Go to the Blogger Forum and post about it there. Someone will help you get it back up and running.
Thanks a lot Bonnie, So nice of you. I have posted about the issue and also got response from them. Just waiting for my site up and running. I have recently started blogging, just 2 months back. Is it a common thing that "blog automatically get deleted"? What is the reason? Why they delete without informing the admin?
I'm glad I could help Jahid. There are actually a lot of reasons why your blog could be classified as spam and removed or deleted:
Affiliate marketing (Please, don't confuse this with "affiliate networking"!). Automated traffic redirection, to another Blogger blog, or to non Google hosted content. Commercially funded adult content. Content created with scripts and programs, rather than by hand. Content or links referencing referral-based activities such as GPT ("Get Paid To"), MLM ("Multi-Level Marketing"), MMF ("Make Money Fast"), MMH ("Make Money from Home"), PTC ("Pay To Click"), or PTS ("Pay To Surf"). Content scraped from other blogs / websites. Copyright Infringement. Large blogs with multiple, unfocused / unrelated subjects. Links to Illegal Downloads / Streaming / Torrents. Links to Account Hacking / Password Distribution sites. Monetizing of adult content, aka porn spam.
Not saying you are guilty of any of these. Some widgets that you add to your blog can classify you as spam also. :)
