I'd like to hear from women who haven't been able to have children. I always thought I'd be a mum, but it didn't happen. I'm a happy person and I love my life. It hasn't really affected me too much not having children. So I'm a confused that I'm feeling a little guilty about being happy with my life, despite not having children. Does that make sense?
I think this is a male and female issue though. There are men and women who wanted to have kids, couldn't or didn't for whatever reason, and are now contented and very happy with their life.
I don't think children are for everyone. Some people are happy being free all day without the responsibility of looking after children, whilst others are at a loss as to life without them.
In a way it is good that you are happy. It shows you are satisfied with your self. If you and your husband wants a child, you can always adopt one.
