Well as we can link photos back to a blog you could do what I've done and make a board which every new post is pinned to. Seems to work well in the short time since I've started doing that.

Just a word of warning towards Pininterest. make sure that you're careful of what you "pin." It seems they're going through some legal issues right now. Avoid repinning copyrighted images without express permission.
